About Us

We Are Leading Marine Power Cable Supplier In China

EPR marine power cables are designed to withstand extreme conditions for marine offshore applications. Just like any other cable, this is used as an electric power transmitter to distribute current to other machine components. It is a highly powered resistant material applicable to ports, marine, offshore, oil and gas. Its excellent component properties provide a resistant capacity to cold, heat, chemicals, and weather.

Guangming cable is a certified EPR marine power cable manufacturer and producer, supplying a large proportion of the marine shipbuilding industry. We produce and deliver the best quality products, the most functional, that can apply to various sectors. With our production system and highly trained personnel, we can develop marine shipboard cables that meet the client’s specifications and requirements.

Adaptability and Resistance

The high-component materials used in the manufacture of EPR marine power cables enable the resisting capability of the cable itself; thus, its application to a vast range of sectors is widespread and popular.

Competitive Pricing

Its capability to be used in large sectors is mainly drawn by, not only its excellent feature but because of its worthwhile value on the market.

Durability

The materials used in its production are highly durable goods, which is why the EPR marine power cable has the ability to withstand any extreme conditions.

Cable Features

The EPR cable insulation has a conductor material of insulated aluminum installed during its manufacturing process. Moreover, copper conducting material has formed a helix-like structure. With these two materials, the EPR marine power cable is built with insulation.

On the other hand, other components like polyethylene make the power cable denser because of their low-density properties. With these parameters of EPR marine power cable, the durability and high electrical power resistance, chemical resistance, temperature resistance, and weather resistance are sufficiently ensured. They will also guard other components from unnecessary damage.

Cable Construction

A conductor and insulator make up an EPR power cable, which maintains the movement of electricity and channels energy. Copper wire undergoes a coil-drawing procedure to decrease its diameter, which is followed by annealing to improve flexibility and conduction. The device that is used relies on the different cross-sections of the conductors.

To avoid current leakages, insulation is provided during extrusion at elevated pressures. Additional components, including inner covering, mechanical armor, and exterior outer sheath, shield the conductors and insulation. Thorough inspections, IEC 60092 standards, and recycling schemes are used to guarantee cable quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

EPR Cable is an electric power transmitter that distributes current to other machine components. It is a highly powered resistant material applicable to submerging underwater and other marine offshore applications. It can resist severe external conditions like temperatures, weather, chemicals, typhoons, extreme rain, and such.

Due to its characteristics, including its highly insulated material and crossed-link construction, the XLPE cable has a strong resistance to harsh circumstances. It is resistant to chemicals, high and low temperatures, and high voltage. On the other hand, with regards to its properties, EPR is better than XPLE; its thermal range is higher, its temperature limit is higher and has higher dielectric properties and insulation.

The dielectric strength of the EPR power cable can reach up to 35 kV per millimeter. It has higher electric holding and can withstand any water, chemical, and heat disturbances. It can distribute high-voltage electric power to other key components of machinery.
